Large Scale Eye. 2010.

Oil on Canvas. 48x36.

You will see below eyes on a much smaller scale (the smallest being 2x2). I like to experiment with scale in all of my studies. Eyes are of particular interest to me, because they are the natural focus and can alter the mood of any picture/painting. Sometimes, they may be all you need.

Arm Study. 2012.

Water Soluble Crayon/Charcoal on Canvas. Sealed with Liquin. 10x30.

Broken Face Study. 2012.

I've started playing with broken up images. I like the idea of distorted reality and not seeing a whole picture - causing the brain to fill in the rest. I plan on expanding and working with this idea in oils for full bodies on larger and smaller scales.

Acrylic on Canvas. Sealed with Liquin.
4x12, 5x7, 4x4.

Three Trees Larger Scale. 2012.

Acrylic on Canvas. Three separate pieces. 12x24.

Mini Red Nude. 2012.
